Welcome to PENCHANT 4 PYGORAS

We are a small hobby farm outside of the metro-Detroit area. I have always loved animals (especially the fluffy & furry ones), so when I saw a posting for 2 Pygora goats, a new passion emerged for me. It has sometimes been a tough learning curve for me because I have never cared for and raised goats before, so my vet receives many calls from me. I have learned so much though in just the few years we have raised them! My husband is a godsend when it comes to helping and making sure the little escape artists can't get out. I am working hard to still learn the ropes of all the registration details, so that we can start selling our available goats. All the while, I work full-time, still have a family, and I am currently working on my doctorate program. Whew! and then sometimes I wonder why I am tired! Thankfully, I have help from my husband and 3 sons (the youngest is especially great with them).

I was also recently diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, so I am always looking for insights on how to work and manage the farm without ruining my joints :) I can't wait to continue to connect with everyone that also has a love for animals, especially pygoras!
